Join Jess and learn how to make sourdough bagels naturally sweetened with honey from E’s Bee Sanctuary!

Classes will be held at The Proud Mitten Shared Kitchen in Plymouth, Michigan starting in June 2024! Inside the PARC building 650 Church St., Plymouth, MI 48170

This new location offers an oven, stovetop, kitchen sink, and tons of counter space for EACH student!

During the hands-on workshop you’ll learn how to mix dough, knead dough, shape bagels, pre-boil for that delicious bagel crust, how to add flavors like everything bagels, poppyseed, and sesame, and finally we will bake and EAT the bagels!

Plus you’ll take home a jar of delicious, humanely harvested HONEY from E’s Bee Sanctuary located in Greenville, MI!!

Please bring a 2.5qt mixing bowl and cover, mixing spoon, kitchen scale that weighs in grams, and a container to take home your bagels! Click HERE for links to supplies I recommend on Amazon.

I recommend you have your own sourdough starter at home so you can make the recipe again in the future, but it’s not required to attend the workshop. I’ll provide the starter and ingredients for mixing dough in class.

    Jess’s sourdough bagel class was a fun night with other sourdough bakers. We made two bagels in class and dough to take home and proof to bake the next day. I highly recommend any of her classes and recipes to anyone looking to start baking with sourdough starter.
